This book definetly was Lani Lynn Vales best to date. It had so much impact. I laughed in so many places. I wanted to tear heads off in other places. And in a few I actually wanted to cry. I devoured this book. Even possibly being late for work to finish it, it was that good. Bowe is the man every woman should want and that I would kill for. He knows what he wants and he is going to get it. Regardless of Angie's protests. He loves fiercely and completely and again I reiterate the man every woman should want.Angie is a strong determined and fierce woman in her own right. She has gone through so much hardship in her life that she deserves to finally get her happily ever after. I felt for her yet rooted for her all the way. She loves hard and she protects what's hers with a vengeance.
The story flowed effortlessly and the banter between Bowe and Angie had me in stitches. Their story was so real and so heartbreaking and yet so uplifting at the same time. I totally recommend this book and the whole series. I would start at the beginning of the series even though this book could read as a standalone if you wanted. Just makes things more clear if you know all the players though.

FINALLY we get Bowe's story! Woot-woot!!
Put Out was a good read! It had an exciting danger/action element to it, a couple of jerkfaces who you can't help but love to hate, some super-touching, tender moments & a very likable, charming Hero. (Thanks for being you, Bowe! You. Are. Awesome.)
I enjoyed the pairing of Bowe & Angie bunches... I only wish they shared more "together time" with one another. I wasn't really blown away by the romance this time around but given more time (aka more sexy scenes), I just know I could've been because they really had a sweet foundation to build upon.
Sad that the Kilgore Fire series has ended but I'm excited to get another new one, The Dixie Warden Rejects! Aaron NEEDS his HEA like yesterday!! )

Put Out, the fifth and final book in the Kilgore Fire series, is one wild ride! Bowe, a paramedic for the KFD, has had a crush on Angie for the longest time. He was working up the courage to pursue her when he was injured on the job. An injury that came courtesy of Angie's insane (literally), nightmare of an ex-boyfriend. Angie has been let down time and again by the men in her life, starting with her father and culminating with her ex. Will she be able to get past her past to find love with Bowe?
It's no secret that I LOVE Lani Lynn Vale's books but this one may be my favorite to date (I know I say that every time but what can I say? Her books continue to get better with each book she published!). Bowe may be the perfect book boyfriend - a strong Alpha hero with a heart of gold, a willingness to take on a fight that was not his, and the ability to love unconditionally. I always love Ms. Vale's heroines as they are always a bit snarky, usually have a smart mouth and have backbone's of steel and Angie is no exception. The chemistry between her and Bowe almost set my kindle on fire. I am extremely sad to see the series ed, but the set up for the next series is very intriguing and I cannot wait to see where we are taken next!
I love Lani Lynn Vales books I always have to pre order and add to my TBR once it's available to do so .This one has to be one of my favorites I'v been waiting for Bowens book and I must say I'm not disappointed and Angie was perfect for him . Bowe was sweet , caring , protective , and such a dirty talker I loved it also the relationship between him and Angies daughter was super adorable he looked at her like she was his daughter . Angie has to be one of my favorite heroines from this author she's tough , a mamma bear , funny ,and also graded she has a close relationship with her mother , sister and brother and the little she had totally stole my heart like all Lanis kids do . It was so good to see all the other characters from this series we also get to see my all time favorite couple in this one was so happy when they were mentioned . One thing I wish thier was more to would be more of a payback to Angies dad and his awful new family . I laughed , cried , laughed some more , swooned , fanned myself , got angry and I also caught myself saying aww a lot . I'm so excited to read whats next already have it pre ordered.

I'm not going to lie, I was a little timid to grab this book - so much so that I broke tradition. I usually wait until Sunday mornings to read a new Lani book but said the heck with it and jumped right in. Why was I timid? Well I hate to admit it, but as much as I love LLV I hadn't loved the last couple of books because IMO there was just something that was missing compared to her earlier works.
This was certainly not the case with this story. The romance was front and center. We got to see the couple fall in love, have some struggles but come out better on the other side....with a little bit of suspense thrown in.
Angie has not had the best run of luck. A douche bag of a dad led to a douche bag of an ex. Then she meets Bowe. Sigh, Bowe was the perfect book boyfriend. His actions spoke so much louder than words. He willingly took on Angie's struggles and tried to make things better for her. Believe it or not, our hero was not lucky with the ladies when it came to relationships - so he really wanted to make it work with Angie, whom he'd been eyeing for awhile. Angie has a hard time letting people in and when you read her history you'll be able to understand why. Can these two make it work or will an Ex, disapproving parents and a natural disaster be too much for the couple to overcome? Guess you need to read it to find out.
